Medicare Advantage plans are provided by private insurance companies with a contract from Medicare. These plans are not Medicare Supplement or Medigap plans. Medicare Advantage Plans are a very good option for many since they usually offer lower copays than Original Medicare, additional services not offered by Original Medicare and many will even include Part D coverage. These plans are available for a low or $0 monthly premium (you will still continue to part your part b premium).
